SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES : A program with 1 rating is suitable for all members of your family, including children under the age of eight. So there’s nothing to worry about. |
 CAUTION IS SUGGESTED : A 2 rating suggests that you should be cautious, as some material may not be appropriate for children and sensitive viewers. Mild bad language or partial nudity for example. |
 DISCRETION IS ADVISED :A 3 rating advises discretion on your part. There are scenes which are unsuitable for children, sensitive and conservative viewers. Scenes with strong language or violence, or material of a sensual nature can be present. |
 STRICTLY ADULT VIEWING : And finally X. Be aware that this is strictly adult viewing only. |

Orbit’s new, network-wide, rating system…helping you and your family avoid any unwelcome surprises. In accordance with the new rating system, and by implementing the Parental Guidance facility on the new Orbit digital box, you can now block any program that has an adult theme (namely a R3 or and RX rated program), at the touch-of-a-button on your handset. These programs are flagged with this icon (“X”) on the TV Pilot information window, indicating the potential to activate the parental lock should you so wish. |
